Join us for a fun-filled Clifford Storytime, where children will enjoy a lively reading of Clifford stories and engage in hands-on activities inspired by everyone’s favorite big red dog! Through stories, crafts, and playful learning, kids will discover the importance of kindness, safety, and friendship, just like Clifford.
Learning Objectives
- Literacy Skills: Develop listening comprehension, vocabulary, and print awareness through interactive story reading.
- Social-Emotional Development: Explore themes of kindness, friendship, and empathy by discussing Clifford’s actions and relating them to children’s lives.
- Safety Awareness: Learn about seat belt safety in an age-appropriate way through a storytime demonstration.
- Fine Motor Skills: Practice cutting, gluing, and coloring during Clifford crafts and coloring activities.
- Gross Motor Skills: Enhance coordination and color recognition with the traffic light beanbag toss and dance parts.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of belonging and excitement around books and reading, encouraging a lifelong love of stories.
