Join us for a strange and adventurous movie night watching Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

Percy Jackson, like any teenager, has issues: on top of having ADHD, he also has to cope with an abusive stepfather and dysfunctional home life. When he realises that he is a demigod and his biological father is Poseidon, the sea god, he sets out to prevent all-out war between the Olympians after the lightning bolt of Zeus is stolen, and he is framed for it.

Juvenile Paint Night

Join Mrs. Kathy for an afternoon of painting an adorable panda holding balloons! If you’re not feeling the panda, that’s ok. You can paint a polar bear, black bear, brown bear, or something of your own choosing. All Suppplies are provided. Please wear appropriate clothes. We will provide smocks, but paint is still messy.  Parents must accompany small children at all times. Thornton and East Hazel Crest Libraries reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this event.
